The BarretteWood factory in Roberval joined the family in 2008 and has since excelled at processing value-added wood. The team applies its know-how to manufacture a wide range of products. From box spring components and furring strips to crating and packing materials and multipurpose lumber, every product meets the highest industry standards.

After we manufacture our products, we sell the by-products to a wide variety of industries. Our philosophy is simple: Be less wasteful and more efficient so we can reduce our environmental footprint.
BarretteWood’s greatest strength is optimizing the use of every piece of wood, in addition to manufacturing by-products. For example, the lumber kiln is powered only by waste from the wood processing mill. The factory also uses biomass to heat all 111,000 ft2 of the site’s buildings. This source of renewable energy has been the company’s pride for over a decade!
More than a hundred employees work at the site every day. The team has developed a shared synergy that makes their work the stuff of true team success.
